A Bit About Me

A Walker of the Earth, Fierce Mama & Public Theologian

Keisha is a walker of the Earth dedicated to the cause of Human Freedom. She uses her personal history to create healing spaces for women, especially victim-survivors of gender-based violence, the disabled, BIPOC, LGBTQ+ folks and works tirelessly to educate herself about communities that are not her places of origin. Keisha feels it is her work and the work of all people to recognize their positions in this world and their privilege. It is not the work of the disenfranchised to teach us.

Keisha has had the absolute joy of bringing three souls into this world. Each one a fierce gift to all they encounter.

And a public theologian - one who speaks the truth especially when it’s difficult to hear. Keisha is a lover of James Baldwin and attempts every day to not cower away from the uncomfortable but to dive in and have the messy conversations and interactions we all need to have if we are to grow individually, within our immediate community and collectively. As an Interfaith Minister, Spiritual Counselor and Black Jewish woman Keisha is intimately aware of the work it will take, the mistakes we will make and the joys we will have as we do the hard work of Liberation. And she is not afraid.
